The problems Labour now faces certainly did not start under Jeremy Corbyn, but he was lukewarm about Remain, and so the Remain campaign never really got out of second gear.  The Labour leadership does bear some responsibility for that – as does the mass media, some parts of which have acted disgracefully to get their own back at Mr Cameron over Leveson.
