General Election 2017

After much soul-searching, I have decided not to stand in the 2017 General Election. At my age and after eleven years in Parliament, I have decided that it is time to step down and support a new Labour candidate for the city.

As a proud Wulfrunian, it has been a privilege to serve the people of Wolverhampton as a Labour Member of Parliament.

I look forward to campaigning hard for Labour in Wolverhampton.

With heartfelt thanks to so many for their kindness and support over many years,

Rob

Oh Rob, I am saddened by this, but understand. Thank you for having done what you’ve done, but I fear for the uncharted waters which our world is sailing into. I wish the clocks could be turned back a year and we could act with hindsight. Liz Millman, still in Oz.
